Explore - Stage one of learning starts with exploration. The brain of young children grows and develops through stimulation from the 5 senses.The experiential learning takes place at home and schools and is strengthened through these stimuli. In this stage learning is based on hands-on experiences that lead to thinking and logical skills. Exploring ideas, thoughts shaping and reshaping projects are all integral parts of this stage. For such kind of learning based projects it is important that children immerse in the idea and explore it from all angles. Our model facilitates children to explore and satisfy their curiosities and also develop an understanding .
Experience - 2nd Stage of learning takes shape with experience. Learning takes place while doing. Students are then able to connect their past experiences with exploration . The five senses help them relate exploration with experience. It helps in drawing conclusions and giving some shape to their thoughts and ideas. This helps them to understand the world around them , and also promotes clarity of concepts. Analysing, optimising, and restructuring are some of the high end prefrontal skills developed at this stage.
Implement -Stage three of learning, ‘Implementation’ is the goal of all education. Knowledge is not complete unless it is applied and used to bring about a change in the individual and in society. At this stage students are encouraged to implement their ideas and bring about a change in their practice and their thinking. Implementations also help students understand and promote independent thinking making them confident, innovative young adults

LIBRARY
Library is a gateway to knowledge and the future. For individuality to flourish, a library plays a very important role. With countless resources, a well organised and laid out library is one of the distinctive features of each of the schools in the Group. The school libraries encompass a huge collection of enriching and exciting books on vast and varied topics, in keeping with interests and needs of the students. The libraries at IGI are digitally enabled and a resource centre with an end number of e- books and other resources like videos, e- magazines, sound files articles etc are provided access to teachers and students. Library is also used as a venue to carry out the enhancement of vocational areas and develop certain skill sets like library management.A dedicated area for storytelling and interactive sessions helps in inculcating interest in reading. Reading room facilities within the library are provided and students and teachers are encouraged to utilise this facility. Students are motivated to spend time constructively in the library. Library also helps in building the character of the children and exposes them to wider horizons.
LABORATORIES
The Science and Social Science labs are places where our children gain hands-on experience. A place where practical meets theoretical explanations. Which induces wonder and inspires inquisitiveness amongst students. Separate labs for Physics, Chemistry , Biology , Computer Sci/ IT , Languages , Math , Psychology etc offer an experience which enhances learning for students of all classes. A Social Science/ Geography Lab caters to the needs of our students as they learn to understand dynamics of geographical diversities, helps in locating countries across the world and helps analyse historical data. The labs are well-equipped and provide not only for the prescribed syllabus, but much beyond. 'Learning by Doing' is the mantra on which these labs function. Students are exposed to experiential learning right from Class III onwards through demonstrations as well as by doing experiments themselves, which enhances their problem solving and critical thinking.
SMART CLASSES
Visual learning is considered to be very effective and assists students in grasping concepts.The schools have tied up with leading service providers to impart teaching through interactive sessions. Audio visual aids are very strong and effective tools of education. Smart class video modules,calibrated assessments, online learning management systems and the learning solutions are based on modern day knowledge. Innovative learning is available to students, teachers and parents on a one-stop portal. Smart classes transform the process of education into an interactive one, making it more enjoyable. These help ensure that understanding a concept occurs faster and retention of a concept is longer. Most of the labs and classrooms are equipped with interactive smart boards.
ATAL TINKERING LABS
National Institution for Transforming India, NITI AAYOG, Government of India has a mission of establishing ATAL TINKERING LABS in schools across India. With an aim to cultivate children of India into ‘Neoteric Innovators’, the ATLs have been set up. These labs foster creativity, critical thinking , flow of imagination and innovations; and also promote various skills like computational thinking, physical and mental computing, design mindset and problem solving. These labs provide a workspace with a flexible environment for younger minds to let their imaginations fly and through hands-on experience draw conclusions. We were among the first 256 schools in the country to receive grants of 20 lakhs each to establish ATL on our campus. Radiant International School and Indirapuram Public School, Indirapuram saw these labs unfold in their premises. ATL gives an opportunity to students to sculpt ideas and work with tools and equipments to understand the concepts of STEM (Science , Technology , Engineering and Mathematics).
Through ATL we are also empowering our students with 21st century skills of design thinking and social and cross cultural collaborations and ethical leadership and so on. Through ATL ,emphasis is to grow India into a knowledge economy.
I.T. CENTRE
The school's IT Centre comprises computers. The computer labs provide technology to students for easy access to the sea of information and for accelerated learning. It also helps students to be part of cognitive games and also fun games to practise theory. It helps them to understand subjects and especially concepts , making understanding of STEM easier. These centres provide invaluable skills and knowledge essential to the world of Information Technology. The Senior Computer Laboratory is connected with high speed internet to assist them with their studies. At the same time the connection for internet surfing is under monitoring/ surveillance. Students learn computing skills in various subjects under the guidance of the subject teacher and the ICT teacher. Computers as a subject is introduced from class I and is offered as an elective subject at the Senior Secondary Level as Computer Science as well as Informatics Practices.
We at IGI besides core IT also integrate all other subjects with IT at the stage of designing the curriculum itself and the same is actually executed via interesting activities in the lab.
